immediately after arriving in Singapore from Batam......

....i officially became a student of Studio Wu!

wahahahah street jazz here i come! wooHoooOO~ =D

Anyway, batam was really enjoyable!

For less than 200 singapore bucks, i'd say it's definitely a good deal!

We arrived at Harris Resort at about ten (indonesian time) in the morning

The staff at Harris were more-than-very friendly and cheerful -- Something you don't usually get to find in Singapore. =x

Room was great. View was perfect.

i simply adored the pool view. had to take a photo with it. What a beauty!

Early noon, we were brought to Nagoya Town, which was a half an hour bus ride from Harris.

And on that town sits the Matahari departmental store ---a leading chain of retail department stores and hypermarkets in Indonesia. impressive.

shortly after alighting from the bus, something caught our eye...
YES! it was A&W alright!!!! and that was our lunchhh...bahahahah heh

we stayed in Nagoya Town till late noon. (and i bought my dancing shoes!)

then it was back to Harris for our long-awaited 3-hour SPA! wheeeeeeEEe!felt like a queen. we were given our own pavilions on the rooftop.

they were each equipped with beds, jacuzzi bath tub, and a shower area.straight after the soothing massages and baths, we were off for atas dinner....grill by the beach~! (or was it the sea?? bahahah)a very romantic dining venue. we even had a musical band to sing for us right by our table, while we enjoyed dinner.

(i looked pretty oily after the spa. muahahha)

after filling the hungry stomachs, we were off to the bowling alleys! (included in the 200 bucks as well!)

probably because it was 10pm, there wasn't a single soul. bahahah. ah well.
the next morning, breakfast buffet!

check out the freakin cool cornflakes machine.

bahhhhh i am so gonna miss Harris!!! T_T

After church, Porky's aunty brought us to Raffles Town Club for lunchhhh....And then we drove up to Dempsey Hill for Ben & Jerry's......they have swings for chairs! and it was super cooling...great place to just chill out and eat fatty ice-creammm...*my favourite pastime!*

in the evening, we met up with our PwC runmates for dinner @ Soon Heng's....read off the Web that it's quite a good steamboat place...

...they've a quite a huge variety of free-flow food and for S$19.90 nett, i'd say it's quite a good deal!

and what interested us most, was the fact that they served free-flow of muachees for dessert! we couldn't stop!

..just look at the contented faces....need i say more??? heh

yep. this is the book i've recently been reading and i must say it has been quite an interesting read!

helped me to better understand the mechanics of a relationship, and the things that were obvious but often overlooked by couples.

most importantly, point out to me the differences between men and women, and how to effectively accept them.

at the same time, reminding me of how i fell in love with porky - because of who is he. because of the fact that he is different from who i am.

first few chapters into the book and i've horrendously realized all the things i have been doing and how hurtful they could be.

when a woman loves a man, she slowly, without realizing, tend to want to change the man to become who she is...hoping that this could make her loved one understand things from her point of view.

it definitely doesnt make the woman any less unloving by wanting to change her man.

it's almost natural for a woman to wanna do that.

but what the woman needs to understand (and recall), is the reason why she fell in love with the man in the first place.

porky also learnt a bit of how women think and behave with the occasional 'nah! read this passage!' kind of statements from me. bahahhah

the inconsistent performance of mine on court is analogous to that of the stock market.

only difference is, people would pay to be part of the ‘buy-and-sell-shares’ game.

I’d foresee myself having to PAY people to get them to just watch me play, and even then, it's not even guaranteed that they would want to risk impairing their eyesight.

i'm pathetic, i really am.

things wouldn't have been that bad if i purely just couldn't get the shots in.

the outrageous part is, i was the source of destruction to other players' well carried-out action plans!

cheapo cubey and i ordered a dessert and made B2 hold on to the cup of milk dressing....told her she could used it to make a wish....

the action of pouring the milk on the icecream aims to imitate that of blowing a birthday candle..

As for her, it's gonna be DBS and then Barclays and then JFAM and then.....blablablabla.. aka NO LIFE.

Besides audit the past couple of weeks.....other activities included PwC Sports League...hanging out with two of Porky's best secondary school friends........

after scanning through The PC Show @ Suntec, the unsuspecting couple went to Yuki Yaki @ Marina Square for dinner....unaware and totally oblivious of what silly and crazy decision they were about to make over dinner...

yes....they turned back to the PC Show...and bought a Samsung 32" Series 3 LCD TV...
...together with a PS3......and there you have it. new additions to their lives.
...and porky gave (more like piggy SNATCHED) her his Pocket PC.

it's been almost a year since i've last met up with my friend from Ernst & Young....

.... MAHANI!!

knew her during my VT days in EY and became best of buddies ever since.

she's been working as an Admin Officer over there for almost 12 years now. (at PwC, we call them planners)

had a simple dinner at Sakae and then headed for dessert at Gelare.

she bought me a pendant from Robinsons......

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

went shopping with Porky earlier on and I bought a beach dress from Far East @ S$39.90. Intending to wear it for Deniece's beach party which is coming up this saturday.

then Porky bought me another dress from Bus-Stop @ $60. I am to wear it for his grandma's bday celebration this coming sunday.

uber busy weekend. baha. =)

the pigs arrived at destination. began bacon-making process. In human language, SUN-TANNING.

sky started drizzling droplets.

female bacon pushed button and activated Sunshine Boy.

clouds dispersed. activation of Sunshine Boy - A STUNNING SUCCESS.

carried on with bacon-making process.

their eye of vision for the next hour or so.

bacon-making process completed...next stop...SKI LIFT & SKY LUGE.

luge rides ended. bacons spotted evening sun.

they unpacked.....

...and started bacon-making process ROUND TWO.

and there you have it. golden brown, crispy bacon.

time to head home. (checked out the shocked faces at Sentosa Express).

saturday was our senior, Eunice's wedding! it was held at Trinity Church @ Paya Lebar...

she was (and still is) gorgeous laaaa!

the thing about attending wedding ceremonies is that they start to make you think about how your own wedding would be like...*creepy* bahahah

most of the juniors Eunice invited were actually our run mates! bahahah so we went down together to give our best wishes to the newly-weds...

it's amazing we didn't die on the field.

it's been two thousand yearssssss since i've last touched my blog!

so here i am.. BACK AGAIN!

bahahaha...been so packed with fun-filled activities everyday that i've absolutely NO TIME! (actually im just trying to act as if my life's freakin happening. hohoho.)

anyways, no worries. the sabby you once knew is still the same ==> fat. round. black. stupid. noisy.

lotsa things to blog about but i guess i'd just be throwing you tons of pictures that i have on this lappie that im usingggg right now.

just last last week laoda n co managed to meet up for lunch bcos most of us happened to be in the raffles place vicinity.

it's obvious the boys are camera-shyyyyyy. but believe me they're so not anywhere near shy in real life. BAHAHHA. meeting the full squad on June the 14th for Minds Cafe. I'm gonna make sure I grab their faces on camera!

then on another day (which i forgot when)..met up a few of my pwc KTV khakis for KTV. (i mean where else can KTV khakis go rites!?!)

we went fer dinner at NYDC and then popped by a Coffee Club for our mudpie.

a great day out would be an understatement.

today i turned into a potential ~~aunty-lookalike~~ japanese look-alike kid.accompanied porky to celebrate keith's bday.

I've known keith since NTU days though not on a personal basis BUT..that's besides the point. i went with porky anyways.

the whole gang of 12 waddled down to Molly Malone's Irish Pub for dinner. it's somewhere in boat quay.

their fish n chips can feed a basketball team. (kk maybe an overstatement) and that was what i ate. but half of it landed on porky's plate.

Porky ordered this thing called Irish Fry-Up. But if you ask me, i'd say it looked lik Mac's Big Breakfast meal. bahahah.

porky and his uber cute friends just so DISCREETLY wrote bday wishes on a bday card... IN FRONT OF THE BDAY BOY.

then we went on with the traditional bday routine ==> bday cake. bday song. bday wish.

we (actually it was more like Deniece who did the hard work scouting for it... we merely chipped in the $$$ hahah) bought the man a Raoul watch......
and insisted that he acted surprise even though he already knew what he was gonna get....how cute laaaaaaa hahhah

Sissy and I bought her a new Mp3 player....looks like a iPod Shuffle...but it's really a spin-off purchased from Giant, equipped with FM Radio and Mp3 capabilities...(yes my sissy and i are cheapos. bahahah)

Sissy and I then took her out on an uber simple outing.....even on the bus, we started cam-whoring... -_-"'

she's all prepped up. waiting for the goofy prince to come pick her up.

Mr goofy prince arrived and little Michy was uber happy to see him. they met at a pwc mates' zoo outing once and Michy somehow remembered him.
the goofy one brought the corny princess to Vivo in a cab. as it was too early for dinner, they popped by E-Zone and then to Candies Empire where he brought her to choose candies.....
after the mad purchase.........wads an outing without the usual cam-whoring session??? baha.

if u ask me, i highly recommend their CALAMARI rings and lasagna! damn nice laaaaaaaaa.....one lasagna can feed two stomachs! no kiddin! *BURPS*
then the goofy prince humbly took out his presents for her........sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

the Me-to-You bear immediately got itself a name....CALAMARI! if u have been paying attention to what i've been blogging, it would be easy to guess how this uber corny name came about. MUAHA.

looking out the glass window from where they were seated, they both noticed something uber uber UBER familiar..............
NYAHHAHHAHA...now THAT's coincidental.....

her week just keeps getting better! (^-^)v

apart from her usual exciting audit life, there's plenty of other happenings going on!

on one day, she was off to meet her Porky's poly frens at Swissotel Merchant Court's Ellenborough Market Cafe for lunch buffet! 8 of them turned up.
the food was sickeningly GREAT! heheh

then on another, the sporty duo woke up early in the morning to go for some sun-soaking activity..
they tried to get a cab but..............

hahah anyways, thank God, they eventually made it to their destination @ Downtown East! (^-^)v

But to their disappointment, Wild Wild Wet wasnt open yett...(so much for reaching early man!)

So, in the meantime, they carried out Plan B ---> ZONE X! nyahhaha

During his childhood days, her Porky used to be one of those uber naughty C.A.B. (aka Cao Ah Beng) who frequents FunLand E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y just to play those street-fighter-ly-x-men games. HENCE, it was no surprise how good he was at them.

He could kill off enemies in 5 seconds (timed, tested, and verified by his gf).

anywaysss..before they know it...Wild Wild Wet was opened for operations...so off they went...she almost got herself killed at the pool but...that's beside the point. haha

Celebrated Porky & Piggy's one month month-iversary on Tues.

i bought him a pair of NIKE shoes and he gave me a treat at Sakae.

On Wednesday, it was off to the JP Morgan Chase 5.6km Run!
(i did not stop to walk at all! wahaha *beams*)
Then on Friday, it was PwC's Post-Peak bash @ PowerHouse, St James Power Station.
(funny how it's called a POST-PEAK bash when my peak ain't really even over yet. haha)

Sabby and I got totally wasted. baha.

Hit back home @ 5.30 in the morning and it was off to my blood test at 9am. It was for some Manulife insurance policy i bought from Mr Yewei.

Met Porky in the evening for ktv. Am going to meet LJS for ktv again later.

many have asked me how exactly did it happen. so here's our story, with love. =)

the female lead:

In the first few weeks of training at PwC, the July - September 2007 period, the two leads were totally oblivious of each other's existence.They hardly communicate with each other in the first month of PwC. In fact, a better description would be they did not really bother.

He thought she was from SMU and she thought he was just another First-Class Honors holder who doesn't give a hoot about Second-Upper-Class peanut-ty personnel like herself.

Things took a turn when the 2 pigs had to attend a Broker Dealer class together in late September --> they were the only 2 out of the entire 40 batch-mates who needed to attend that session.

That was when he, she and Su Tee got to sit at the same table and became the best of buddies eversince.

From then on, they were part of the same clique(s).

KTVs. Mahjong sessions. Netball & Soccer outings. Dinners.

As a clique, they got together really well.

After World War I occurred in her life, they were coincidentally booked on the same job.

Same client's place, different teams. But it gave him a good opportunity to get closer.

For quite awhile, he has been hiding quietly behind her back, showing her friendship, support, care & concern without asking for anything in return. You could tell cos the female lead could not even sense that he was in love with her.

Many a times he would travel back from client's place to office just so that he could accompany her to work through the night. Even though he already had nothing to do, he would pretend that he did.

11pm, 12am, 1am, even 2am. Just silently sitting there right next to her, waiting patiently for her to be done.

In late Feb 2008, he confessed to her at a mall about his feelings but was rejected despite she having positive feelings toward him as well.

She wasn't ready. Wasn't sure. She knows how hurt he was.

Still, the male lead was never discouraged. And he continued to quietly be there for her. The only difference was, she now knew where he was coming from.

They continued to be uber good friends.

Late March, he decided to make a second confession.

No prizes for correctly guessing the outcome. =)

Celebrated Christmas with the LJS girls 2 Fridays ago at Timbre. Good food good music great company. What more do you expect??!
On Christmas Eve, it was off to meeting Su Tee for me. You could call it a belated birthday celebration for her, or a Xmas get-together for the two of us!

dnd was okay. i didn't spend much! ('cept for the cab fares... -.-!)

from head to toe, it was all DIY for me.

dnd ended around a quarter past midnight.

was supposed to fly over to FBIL's (Future-Brother-In-Law) 21 st birthday party but i guess it was too late! (FBIL! Don't bite me! T_T hope you had a good one!)

So in the end, i went off with my colleagues to La Baroque at Chijmes which was just around Raffles Convention Centre (our dnd venue)

The crowd dispersed at about 2am.

Special thanks to my 'daddy', who so patiently accompanied me for nearly half an hour by the road side to wait for my bf to come pick me up.

and of course, a SUPER BIG thanks and a SUPER BIG hug for my bf who so last-minutely agreed to come pick me up! =D

this year, there weren't any surprises for my poor boyfriend.

no treasure hunts. no birthday vouchers. no cookies. no nothing.

some say simplicity is beauty.

with regards to that, you'd have to ask my birthday boy.

initially we were supposed to be at Sentosa with his friends. but there was a last minute change of plans as a couple of his friends couldn't make it.

and so, it was a very very unplanned and simple birthday for my boyfriend. and im so terribly sorry about it. T_T

i gave my bf a treat at Suntec's Pizza Hut (it was initially supposed to be Crystal Jade but d last minute changed his mind)

we ended up ordering too much food.

expectedly, we couldn't finish!

(it's no wonder why the next table jus kept staring at us. they must have thought we went nuts hahah)

then it was off to Eng Wah to catch Super Bad. it was super lame, super crude, super funny!

and then we jus went walking around Suntec after the movie. (and i bought myself a Pooh hanky!)
